The Digi-Med Analog Signal Analyzer (ASA-400) is a compact digital instrument which analyzes two separate electrical signals in a millivolt-to-volt range to provide 6 parameters of the input waveform from two analog devices. It can be combined with other Digi-Med instruments in an integrated PC-based system.

The ASA is used to obtain direct, highly accurate measurements in chronic or acute pre-clinical experiments. Information is instantaneously analyzed, displayed, stored, and ready for interpretation with no further post-experimental analysis needed.

Build a Fully Digital System

Many labs are moving to an all-digital solution to their data acquisition and analysis needs in order to gain ease-of-use, instantaneous analysis and afford-ability. Other systems, whether they have been "digitized" or still consist of analog stripchart recorders, require extensive labor-intensive steps to analyze the raw data. The ASA provides analysis instantaneously and automatically. The ASA permits independent operation of each of its two separate channels.

Measurements are provided as volts or as "scientific units" specific to the analog equipment used. Each of the two totally-independent channels can have different measurement units, voltage ranges and other configuration features.

The Digi-Med System Integrator links other Digi-Med Analyzers to your personal computer... and now, with the ASA, you can tie in signals from other vendor devices, or separate analog signals from independent sensors, such as those listed below.

Analog Input Equipment

The ASA-400 is designed to accept, digi-tize and analyze two separate electrical signals from virtually any third-party de-vice, or separate analog signals, such as:

* Flowmeters

* pH Meters

* O 2 / CO 2 devices

* Temperature Meters

* EEG, EKG or EMG signals

* Respiratory Rate (non-invasive)

* Sonomicrometers

* Most other analog signals & devices

* Video Calipers
